Jillian and Stephen

We first met Jillian and Stephen from Jessica and Daniel's wedding (a wedding we worked earlier this year). We are soooo glad that they came to us. When I first met Jillian, she had so many ideas spinning in her head - revolvling doors, leaves, a beach, fall colors and tree climbing. I knew that this couple was going to be fun and up for anything. We timed the fall colors and ended up at Botanical Gardens in Norfolk. There's always a first for everything and I am admitting today that last week was the first time that I have ever climbed a tree to take pictures! This will definitely be a couple to follow and we look forward to their wedding day in October 2010!

Danielle

A couple week's ago Danielle and her mom hung out with us at Sandbridge for Danielle's Senior pictures. They came to us wanting something different from the traditional school photographer's look. On the day of the shoot we had to reschedule due to bad weather, but as usual, good things come to those who wait. The rescheduled shoot at the beach was perfect - warm weather, small breeze and a golden sunset. In talking with Danielle, I discovered that she puts me to shame in two sports - swimming and snow boarding. I can't do very well with either of those sports. She is an all around great person and we wish her the best in her endeavours!

Joyce and Jordan

As the holidays get closer we all begin to spend more time with family. A couple weeks ago we did a shoot with Maddy (my niece) and this time it was Jordan's turn (my nephew). Joyce was looking for a fall theme and Jordan was probably just looking to have fun. Cole and I took them to Botanical Gardens in Norfolk and had a blast there. There were just enough leaves to pile up and throw around and the colors were so perfect. I wish Fall was year around.

FALL IS HERE!!!!!

It's not very often that Cole and I get behind the camera, but it was such an awesome day last Thursday that we had to get out. The colors on the trees were sweet and we just had to do something fun. So we grabbed our friend, Mr. Tripod, and took some pictures.

For all of you who love the fall colors, now is the time to take some vibrant pictures! Happy Fall to everyone!

Jessica and Doug's Wedding

I must say that this was another great wedding filled with great emotion - laughs, crying, and a whooole lot of dancing. Our day started with everyone getting ready at the Aldergate Church in Chesapeake and ended at the beautiful Planter's Club House in Suffolk. Both venues are a gorgeous site to see and perfect place to celebrate a wedding. Jessica and Doug were an awesome couple to work with and so laid back in how they do things. We knew from their engagement session that they had great personalities and Doug was going to be the one to watch at the reception :) Congratulations to Jessica and Doug and thanks to the families for everything they did to make it a beautiful day :)
