Jamie and Brad's Wedding

You all first met Jamie a couple month's ago on the blog when we did her bridal photos. On May 21, 2011 she and Brad got hitched! It was a glorious wedding with great outdoor weather for their reception. We enjoyed every bit of our day with Jamie, Brad and their families. Their reception was just a downright personable environment with some great food (Cole loved the barbecue), fun, cornhole, and awesome people. It was cool to see everyone dancing and singing and just rock'n out with each other. My highlight - a kiss on the cheek from Jamie's mother at the end of her reception :) She was sooo sweet....!! Cole and I would like to thank everyone for their hospitality and the opportunity to be present at an awesome wedding! See what we captured below.....

Shannon's Maternity shoot with Kevin

Shannon and Kevin are good friends of ours and are an important part of my photography career. Cole and I were guests at their wedding years ago and it was at their wedding that my addiction to photography grew. I started shooting every little thing at their wedding (even though I wasn't their photographer) and was excited to see the results when I got home with my camera. Fast forward to today and they are now at a special milestone of their lives - their first baby - due any minute now!! We are excited for them and can't wait for the little one to arrive!

We met up with them at Botanical Gardens a month ago and did a maternity shoot. It was good times as usual and we got out of there just before the heat got too wild. Stay tuned for baby pictures from them... for now enjoy the maternity pictures.

Anja, Carlos, Oliver, Kai and Grandparents

This is the third straight year of doing Anja and her family's photos. It all started with Oliver and now here we are today with Kai. As I do more and more photoshoots, this becomes more of a documentary for Anja and her family. As I see the boys grow up, I'm starting to realize that time is flying and I am getting OLDER! :) My day didn't start off very great as I headed to the VB Oceanfront. I left early enough and of course.. the high rise bridge opens. It didn't just open... it stayed open for over an hour. Finally, the bridge closed and I...ummm... drove quickly to say the least to the beach. I wasn't as concerned about being late (Anja knew what was going on). I was more concerned about beating that harsh sun. Overall, it worked out great and we still had a fun filled day. It was amazing to see Kai moving and crawling around soooo quickly. The last time I saw him, he was still in mama's belly :) I look forward to next year and can't wait to see the whole family again!

Jamie's Bridals

Finally, I'm getting around to updating the blog! I apologize to my followers as I've been tied up with events and of course the little guy (who just turned a whopping 7 1/2 months!). Back in April I had the pleasure of shooting Jamie's bridal session on the beaches of First Landing State Park. Jamie is a straight up awesome person who is so laid back and just let Cole and I do our thing - she just had to bring her smile and her dress and we took care of the rest. She left the nerves at home and just made the day so relaxing.... it almost made our day too easy. We certainly enjoyed the company of her mother and sister during the shoot and couldn't wait to show her the results. Well, here is a preview of our day.. enjoy!
