Debbie and Steven's Wedding

Debbie and Steven had a beautiful wedding at the Lesner Inn in Virginia Beach! Awesome weather and a nice deck overlooking the water and sunny, blue skies that day. "Hey DJ" Bobby kept the night rolling with some great music where everyone got down and at some points got dirty. My strange highlight of the day - pictures with the gnome - yes a gnome. There is some sort of family tie to this gnome, but I never quite figured it out. Cole and I wish Debbie and Steven and their families many great days together! Tami and Dan's Wedding

Phewwww...some much going on with Cole and I - little Brayden will be here in a couple weeks and we are still trying to get settled in our new home! I am back on track this week with everyone's pictures - so sorry about the delay everyone! Back in September, Cole and I captured Tami and Dan's wedding and reception at the Bay Creek Resort in Cape Charles (Eastern Shore). It was a beautiful day and the sun was beaming down on everyone, but being surrounded by the water kept it comfortable. At the reception, we watched everyone cut loose on the floor - family danced with family, the groom and groomsmen mashed the bride - "Night At The Roxbury" style, and even the little baby got down. Everyone had a great time and Cole and I were glad to be a part of their special night! Check out a preview of everything.....

Aubrey and Brian

The boy scouts' motto is "Be Prepared". As a photographer you have to be able to brave the wind, heat, snow, and even rain. Aubrey, Brian and I were definitely not prepared for what we faced on the day of their engagement session - flies. Evil, evil flies. Don't get me wrong, it was a beautiful day and sunset at the Fort Story beach but those flies were some persistant buggers who flew like a butterfly and stung/bit like a mosquito. We all couldn't help but laugh as we smacked our legs - this will definitely be a day to remember for all of us. Despite the flies, we all still smiled and Aubrey and Brian still got off some great smiles and shots. The lesson learned was to bring bug spray even on a good day. The wedding is only weeks away and I'm sure they will be lots of fun!
