Jaclyn and Jeremy's Engagement

The day I met Jaclyn at Starbucks I just hoped and prayed that she would decide to pick me as her wedding photographer. When we met again, she brought Jeremy and her family and that made me want to be her wedding photographer even more! I had the pleasure of doing Jaclyn and Jeremy's engagement session a couple weeks ago at the Virginia Beach Towncenter and at some railroad tracks in Norfolk. They are an incredible couple with awesome personalities - great smiles, a great sense of humor, and up for just about anything! Jaclyn and Jeremy were just so comfortable and natural behind he camera - it definitely made an early morning shoot easy. Congrats to you both and I can't wait for your wedding day!

Rima and Chirag

Rima and Chirag recently moved to the Hampton Roads area and when I met them I just knew that I had to do their photoshoot. They are such an adorable couple with a great connection. When Rima and Chirag arrived for their shoot, I was excited to see Rima's attire - she wore a beautiful Indian dress (I have been dying to do a shoot which incorporated the Indian culture and clothing style). Our day started at Fort Story with the sun gleaming and ended at First Landing State Park with a nice cool sunset. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Rima and Chirag and loved strolling around with them. I hope their stay in Virginia is a great one and I look forward to working with them again!

Jayden's Baptism

On my off time, I often do things with my family and friends. A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to witness a grand event for baby Jayden. Jayden's parents, Marc and Kim, are good friends of the family and they invited me to be at Jayden's baptism. The baptism was at the beautiful St. Matthews Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. Often babies scream like crazy during a baptism, but Jayden was relaxed. It was uneventful for Jayden - as you can tell by his yawning- but it was a meaningful day for his parents and family. We wish Jayden, Kim, Marc and their families the best and look forward to doing more pictures of Jayden!

Kevin and Christina's Wedding

There isn't a better way to ring in the new year than to get married the day after the new year starts. Kevin and Christina married on January 2nd, 2010 and rang in the new year with an awesome wedding and reception. The Freemason Baptist Church in Norfolk was just a gorgeous place to get married. Everything about the atmosphere and architecture of the church was awesome! After the wedding, we all headed to Village Hall at West Neck where everyone had some good times. Congratulations to Kevin and Christina! We enjoyed kicking off 2010 with you, your families, and friends!
