Jessica and Daniel were troopers for their engagement session. The weather was perfect on Sunday at Sandbridge and then all of a sudden the temperature began to drop and the winds picked up. Sand was blowing everywhere and so was Jessica's hair. We found refuge in the dunes and became more comfortable. Their goofy sides showed later that day and I'm betting on a fun day for their wedding! They definitely complete each other and we look forward to more with them.

Heidi and Jon's Engagement
Heidi and Jon couldn't have picked a more perfect day and location for their engagement session. The weather was warm, the skies were bright, and the flowers and trees were in bloom. Our day started with a walk in the Thoroughgood neighborhood and then we headed to the Thoroughgood House. This area is a very historic place, named after Adam Thoroughgood, and the house is deemed one of the oldest houses from the early colonial period. Although we couldn't take pictures inside the house or in any of the buildings around, the grounds were a perfect place for pictures. Heidi and Jon are a great couple and we look forward to their wedding in 2 weeks.

Babies' Day Out
I love kids and can't wait to have some of my own. We all went out to Botanical Gardens on a nice day and walked the kids around in their wagon. It is great having kids in the family and as they get older it will be hard to say "No" to them .... I guess that is what uncles and aunts do. Jordan and Maddy enjoyed themselves and by the end of the day Maddy was the real trooper - Jordan had passed out. He sure sleeps alot, but maybe that is the key to him being a whole head taller than Maddy.

Keisha and Jeremy's Engagement Session
If I had to sum up Keisha and Jeremy's engagement session, I could do it in one word: fun! They are a lovely couple that are just so natural behind the camera. They have a great sense of humor and we had some good laughs. It was a beautiful 70 degree day at the Chesapeake Bay Beach at First Landing Park. We started with a walk along the beach, had some fun in the sand and dunes, and hung out at the auditorium and benches. We hope you all enjoyed the day because we certainly enjoyed your company!

Jeff and Jenna
It was a great day at the beach with the sun shining and skies painted in a perfect blue. Nobody would have ever thought that it was only in the upper 40s that day. I had the privelage of doing a shoot with Jeff and Jenna at Sandbridge in Virginia Beach and they did a great job fighting the cold breeze off the water. They were a fun couple and convinced me that they were naturally in love. After the shoot, I think their plans were to defrost at home behind a heater. :) Thanks Jeff and Jenna, I had an awesome experience and was happy to see that nobody took my ladder!
