2010 has come to a close for Calma Photography and I wanted to give a VERY SPECIAL THANKS to everyone I worked with this year. I love what I do and being able to work with people who I can consider good friends at the end of the day makes every job that much more enjoyable. I am looking forward to 2011 - can't wait for the season to kick off, but most importantly - I can't wait for little Brayden to take his first steps or say his first words :) Many thanks from Cole and I and we hope 2011 will be a another fun-filled, successful year! I couldn't resist so here is a picture of Brayden when he was juuuuust a couple weeks old:

Stefanie and Corry
Stefanie and Corry are good friends of ours and when Stefanie came to us wanting pictures, I was excited do them. I took them out to the downtown Norfolk area for their photoshoot and we had some good times. They are a cute couple and know how to make each other smile in their own little ways. Whenever I see Stefanie, I think about how she gets so competitive and in-the-zone when we have our game nights. When it's all said and done, it's always the guys who prevail..... especially in Taboo. I extended another Taboo challenge to Stefanie, but I'm still waiting for her to accept it.. tick tock tick tock.....bzzzzzzz (I can hear the Taboo buzzer going off). Well, check out the preview of our morning together!

April, Tim, Jordan and Karen (AKA Gam)
Last year (around November-ish), I had the pleasure of working with April, Tim and Jordan for a fall shoot at Botanical Gardens. Well, they came back this year for another shoot and I was excited to see everyone plus Karen (AKA Gam). I was actually more excited to see Jordan who was allllll grown up. It brought a smile to my face when she knew who I was and called me Mr. Jeff :) We had tons of fun at the Fort Story beach in Virgina Beach and I can't wait for next year. I hope they come see me every year as I would love to see Jordan grow up!!!!

Patrick and Amy's Wedding
You first met Patrick and Amy when we did their engagement shoot in downtown Norfolk. On November 6th, they tied the knot at the Greenbrier Country Club - which by the way is a gorgeous place for a wedding and reception. It was an emotional wedding filled with tears of joy and even laughter during the vows. After the ceremony, everyone partied like a rockstar and shook the dance floor to some oldies but goodies and even had a good ol' dance off to some James Brown music. People of all ages got together that night and had a grand old time and I enjoyed watching (and taking pictures of course) every bit of it. Congratulations to Patrick and Amy and thank you to the friends and family for making their wedding day that much more special!!
