Baby Rowan

Don't know what else to say about this one except Rowan is a super cutie! Jon and Heidi (my brother and his wife) have been wanting some good pictures of their little one - 4 month old Rowan. When Rowan was born, we attempted a photoshoot and she just wasn't cooperative. This time around I was determined to make it work and get some good shots. I got some great shots! Of course part of the credit goes to Heidi who did some homework and came up with the tutu idea. Pretty soon I am going to have to use Heidi as an assistant/photographer for the baby photoshoots. :) Can't wait to do some more of Rowan!

Candace, Chloe, and Georgee

I met Candace at my niece's 1 year birthday party and we talked about how she had a daughter and they have some great snapshots, but no professional pictures together. I tell everyone that I really think that having someone be your photographer/paparazzi for a couple hours is priceless. You never know what a good photographer will capture and it's awesome to look back at those moments and say "I remember that...when you were 2 years old you struck that silly pose!" or "I remember that picture - it was right before you were acting bratty!!!". :) Well, there was no bad moments when I hung out with Candace, Chloe and Georgee. Three gorgeous women (I guess one gorgeous little women :) who made my day easy. We went to Botanical Gardens for the morning and had some good times before the heat melted us. Little Chloe stole the day with some great poses (and no I did not tell her to pose - she was a natural!!) Anyway, check out our day below....

Baby Sophia, Cristina and Brent

Brent and Cris are good friends of ours and when they brought up the idea of pictures for Sophia I couldn't turn that down. Sophia was born a couple months after Brayden so they will be great play partners one day! Since the weather in Virgina has been HOT and HUMID, we decided to stick around our house and do some photos in the house and on our porch. They turned out awesome! We had a blast with Sophia and certainly had a good laugh at Brent's repetitve chanting to make her laugh :) Afterwards, we had some delicious burgers with an apple crumb desert topped with ice cream. And yes Cris, I topped mine with cookie dough ice cream - not vanilla.

Jamie and Brad's Wedding

You all first met Jamie a couple month's ago on the blog when we did her bridal photos. On May 21, 2011 she and Brad got hitched! It was a glorious wedding with great outdoor weather for their reception. We enjoyed every bit of our day with Jamie, Brad and their families. Their reception was just a downright personable environment with some great food (Cole loved the barbecue), fun, cornhole, and awesome people. It was cool to see everyone dancing and singing and just rock'n out with each other. My highlight - a kiss on the cheek from Jamie's mother at the end of her reception :) She was sooo sweet....!! Cole and I would like to thank everyone for their hospitality and the opportunity to be present at an awesome wedding! See what we captured below.....
